SC ELECTROPLAST SA is a private capital joint-stock company, established in 1993. In 2001, Electroplast became a Romanian – Italian joint venture, in association with ITALIAN CABLE COMPANY S.p.A.  
At present, SC ELECTROPLAST SA is one of Romania's leading electric cables and wires manufacturing.
ELECTROPLAST is located in the Transylvanian town of Bistrita-Nasaud county.

Our product range includes copper and aluminum electric cables, both rigid and flexible, armored and non-armored, screened, as well as armored and screened.

The cables are insulated in PVC, PE, XLPE or silicone rubber, being manufactured according to applicable national and international standards on up-to-date production equipment.

With its more than 170 employees, ELECTROPLAST is able to implement the fundamental principles of its customer-orientated policy by manufacturing and supplying the ordered products in a timely and reliable fashion.

SC ELECTROPLAST SA operates upon a  DIN ISO 9001 compliant quality assurance system certified by S.R.A.C. Bucharest and IQ Net. Our company has also implemented an environmental protection system in accordance with the requirements of ISO14001 certified by CERTIND Bucharest.  Our mechanical and electrical testing lab is licensed by R.E.N.A.R. Bucharest to perform tests on electric cables and wires.

We are listed suppliers for some major Romanian utilities companies, such as SC ELECTRICA SA, SC TERMOELECTRICA SA, SC HIDROELECTRICA SA and SC TRANSELECTRICA SA and have been granted a “Railway Supplier License” by AFER (Romanian Railway Authority).
